LANCASTER City try again this week as they bid to re-start their league clash with Burscough just a fortnight after the original game fell victim to a floodlight failure.
They take on Sean Teale's side at Giant Axe in a re-arranged match as both clubs take advantage of a break in the schedule due to the FA Cup final qualifying round.
The two-week break has given City the chance to regain their form and Burscough the chance to lose theirs.
The Linnets were the surprise team of the early weeks of the season, but suffered a 3-0 home defeat against Altrincham on Saturday and were beaten 1-0 at Gateshead last week.
Saturday saw Lancaster City came from behind to claim an impressive victory at Harrogate Town.
Andy Whittaker was the star man for the Dolly Blues as they overturned a 1-0 half time deficit to win an impressive three points to lift themselves into the top half to the table.
The first half saw Harrogate playing the better football and Andy Speight made his claim for a permanent first team shirt with another good performance in place of Mark Thornley.
Trinidadian striker Clint Marcelle - one of a growing number of Unibond league players with international experience - went close before Harrogate finally broke the deadlock through Scott Bonsall five minutes before the break.
Lancaster took 10 minutes to make their second half dominance count and Whittaker won a penalty after a foul by keeper, Paul Connor.
The former Bamber Bridge striker doesn't miss many from 12 yards and duly stepped up to convert.
Whittaker then created a second goal for Brian Welch before Michael Yates teed up Jimmy Love to complete the comeback in the dying minutes.
The Blues' comeback was made all the sweeter by the fact that they themselves had been the victims of a great escape in their match at struggling Gateshead on Wednesday night.
The match last Wednesday saw City take the lead after just two minutes at the International Stadium, with Paul Haddow the scorer.
Welch made it 2-o 15 minutes later, but from there it all went wrong for Tony Hesketh's side as Rob Jones headed home a corner and Willie Moat, making his debut for the Tyneside club at the age of 38 - equalised five minutes later.
Dave Colvin put Gateshead ahead on 63 minutes, but a goal from Haddow two minutes later leveled things up.
City's under 18s take on Ashton Athletic in an away game on Sunday, kick off 2pm.
