SEASIDE success is the aim of South Pier's new general manager.
James Burns, 45, from Bolton, a Belfast-born father-of-two, will be based at the pier, which is owned by Leisure Parcs. He will be responsible for day-to-day running and development.
James started his career in hospitality and tourism as a catering manager at a North Wales Pontins holiday park 25 years ago, after completing a catering degree at Bolton Technical College.
