YOUNG people from the Little Harwood Youth Group, in Blackburn, who produced a CD Truth Hurts, have featured in national youth work journal, Young People Now.
The CD consists of hip-hop and rap tunes written by young people and focuses on racial division in their area.
The journal, with a nationwide circulation, has commended the councillors in Blackburn and especially Coun Mahfooz Hussein for supporting the young people despite their outspoken criticisms.
Coun Hussein said at the time: "Young people will voice their feelings in different ways and we are open to hear them."
