YOUNGSTERS in Pendle have been preparing themselves for the spooky activities organised in the borough for Hallowe'en.
Pendle Leisure Trust has arranged for three ghoulish gatherings to take place at Pendle Wavelengths, in Nelson, on Wednesday, and at Pendle Leisure Centre, in Colne, and West Craven Sports Centre, in Barnoldswick, on Thursday.
The events have been organised by the marketing manager, Katy Mills, who said: "There are certainly spooky goings on in Pendle this Hallowe'en. Rumours are rife that witches and wizards, ghosts and ghouls are plotting gruesome get-togethers involving loud music, dancing and ghastly games at Pendle's three swimming pools.
"It's sure to be a scary spectacle and kids are invited to come along to any of the events -- fancy dress is optional."
