MOTORISTS in Clitheroe are warned of town centre road closures to allow for repairs to the phone network and installation of gas mains.
Castle Street will be closed between Parson Lane and King Street from 8am until 5pm tomorrow when an alternative route will be available via Parson Lane, Station Road and King Street.
Derby Street will be closed entirely from Monday, November 11, until Sunday, December 1.
Shawbridge Street will also be closed from Lowergate to Waterloo Road, and Duck Street will be closed to traffic moving in a south-westerly direction, also from November to December 1.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure of Shawbridge Street is via Waterloo Road, Peel Street, Queensway, Moor Lane, Castle Street, Market Place and Wellgate or by Lowergate, Highfield Road, Peel Street and Waterloo Road.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure of Duck Street is via Waterloo Road, Peel Street, Queensway, Moor Lane, Castle Street, Market Place and Wellgate.
