PEOPLE in Burnley were treated to tales from the touchline thanks to a guest appearance by ex-international and Scottish soccer ace Alan Hansen.
The popular TV pundit lent his support at a fund-raising dinner at Burnley's Turf Moor football ground.
The event was organised to raise money for St Theodore's RC High School, which wants to bid for sports college status.
Peter Salmon, Head of Sports at the BBC and former Burnley schooboy, hosted the event ,which was attended by nearly 300.
The sponsors of the night, Benedictine, donated three cases of the liqueur for the evening's closing toast.
