THE imminent industrial action by the country's firefighters will not have any impact on Burnley's busy schedule.
The club's safety officer Alex Wood explained: "We have liaised with the chief fire officer for Burnley, gone through a risk assessment and we have no problems.
"All I shall be doing is employing an extra three fire safety officers. Most of the stadium is concrete and we have gone through a table top exercise to show that any risk is minimal. It is a very safe stadium."
The first planned day of industrial action is next Tuesday when the Clarets travel to Blundell Park and that game has also been given the go-ahead.
A spokesman for the Mariners said: "We have had a look at it and there is no problem."
Blackburn Rovers have also confirmed none of their games should be affected.
A spokesman said: "We don't think it will affect us. We met with our safety advisers yesterday and outlined our contingency plans and we feel and they feel we can operate the ground safely."
