A TAXI firm is appealing for Burnley charities to come forward and claim a stretcher left in an old ambulance bought by the firm.
King's Cabs in Yorkshire Street wants the stretcher to go to a worthy cause rather than being dumped in the bin and is offering it free of charge.
Naz Hamed, from the firm, said it was keen for a local charity to take it off its hands.
He said: "We got the ambulance as we do some patient transport work but don't need the stretcher, which is really good quality.
"We thought rather than just chuck it away, someone might be able to make good use of it."
Any charity who wants the stretcher should call King's Cabs on 01282 422551.
