WORKERS at an Accrington-based transport group raised hundreds of pounds for breast cancer -- by wearing pink.
Staff at Fraser Eagle held a non-uniform day in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign. Those who wore pink donated £1 while those who didn't had to pay £2 forfeit.
Employee Emma Corfield, who organised the event, said: "The offices were a sea of pink. "Some of the visitors to the offices gave us a few strange looks but that's what it's all about. It was a fun way for us to raise money for a deserving cause with a serious message."
