RESIDENTS in the Trinity area of Burnley are being given a chance to air their concerns about crime at a series of police surgeries.
Local community beat manager PC Adam Gordon will hold two surgeries in the run-up to Christmas, both of which will take place at the parish rooms at Holy Trinity School, in Raglan Road, Burnley.
PC Gordon will be available to listen to concerns and give out crime prevention advice on Wednesday, November 13, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, and on Wednesday, December 4, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
He said: "I know that there will be people living on my beat with real concerns about local crime and disorder issues and if they haven't already, then I want them to come forward and speak to me.
"Whether they are worried about youth nuisance, how best to protect their property or perhaps what to do if they have information about a crime, then I would urge them to come along and see me.
"Given that it's now the run up to the festive season I would also be happy to advise people on Christmas crime prevention."
Anyone who cannot make the surgeries or who wishes to speak to PC Gordon in confidence, can contact him via his voicemail number which is 01282 472962.
