WEB sites for the disabled and the law will come under the spotlight at the next meeting of BURYBUSINESS.NETwork (BBN).
The event will take place at the town's Bolholt Country Park Hotel today (Tuesday) beginning with a free buffet at 6pm.
Mike McNicholas of Technophobia UK will introduce the company which is the leading provider of Internet technology, design and consultancy solutions.
It has a strong ethical policy and has delivered web-based solutions that meet the needs of many disabled groups. He will discuss the implications for web site design and also the legal responsibilities that have to be complied with.
Marketing on the web will be addressed by Bury businessman Gordon Jones of Gregory-Jones Marketing & Communications in his second presentation. He will outline how delegates can ensure their business has the profile it deserves, how to attract new customers and keep the orders rolling in.
To reserve your place, log on to the BBN web site at www.burybusiness.net and fill in the on-line booking form. Alternatively, phone Brian Berry direct on 253 5394 or e-mail him on b.berry@bury.gov.uk if you wish.
