THE Women's Royal Voluntary Service needs volunteer drivers to help deliver meals on wheels in the Mellor and Salesbury area.
Meals are delivered on every weekday except Friday and each round takes one to two hours.
The amount of time a volunteer gives is their own decision -- it could be once a month or more often.
The WRVS provides a van although volunteers can use their own car. Both men and women can apply.
Mrs Eileen Hampshire, WRVS' Ribble Valley food coordinator, said: "If you feel that you would like to give something back to your community, would enjoy the opportunities and rewards that this work offers and would like to know more about it, then please telephone Susan Baron on 01254 812527 or the WRVS office on 01200 442513."
