AN Accrington social club will hold a number of nights in November to raise money for charity.
The Poplar Social Club, on Wellington Street, will hold the final fundraising event of the year for the NSPCC on Saturday, November 2 at 8pm.
The night will feature acts by comedy impersonator Carl Schofield and singer Nikki Jackson.
And all funds will go to Holroyd House, in Blackburn.
The club will also play host to the Lancashire folk band the Houghton Weavers on Thursday, November 14.
All funds raised will go to the Hyndburn Action Committee, a group looking to fight the County Council's decision to close the region's care homes.
