THE Church Family Bonfire will be held at the Vicarage on Saturday. The fire will be lit around 6pm. Firework display and refreshments available.

MEMBERS of the Mothers Union will be entertained at their next meeting on the November 5 by Barbara who will be taking them on a safari in Africa - sunshine, scenery and animals which should help to brighten up a dull November night.

CONGRATULATIONS to Worsthorne Scouts who won the district swimming gala. The Scouts are holding a fancy dress party for Halloween and hope to have lots of spooky fun and games.
