DISASTER struck for Great Harwood at Cheadle Town in NWCL Division Two last night.
Harwood manager John Hughes blamed himself for putting out a side to match Cheadle's 'competitive' nature only to find the entire Cheadle team had changed due to a change in manager.
Cheadle scored via an own goal on four minutes before Liam Denning levelled for Harwood on the half-hour.
Alex Hinchcliffe put the visitors ahead eight minutes later but defensive errors let Paul Riley in just before the break to level for Cheadle.
Steve Gardner put the home side in the lead on 52 and Lee Wakefield increased the lead to 4-2 on 75.
Ten minutes from time Chris Heslop fired in Harwood's third.
