GET ready to jump out of your seat watching the next production from Broughton's Club Players.
Wait Until Dark is a clever thriller about three petty thieves desperate to find a missing, drug-filled doll -- a change to the Club Players' last play, the farcical Tea for Two.
The doll has disappeared from a London flat and the criminals are anxious to find it. They play all manner of tricks on the owners of the flat -- a photographer and his blind wife -- to try and trace the doll.
Directed by Judith Webster, Wait Unitl Dark has a few familiar faces, staring Gillian Hodgson, Mike Davison and Michael Taylor, pictured above.
Eric Webster, stage manager, said: "It's a thriller, but it's for the general play-going audience.
Tickets for Wait Until Dark are £4 for adults, and £2 for children. The play runs from Wednesday, November 6 to Saturday, November 9, at The Hall, Broughton and District Club, Whittingham Lane, Broughton, Preston.
Curtain up is at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the box office on 774208.
The club has a large free car park and a bar.
