GARRY FLITCROFT today warned Celtic: "We don't fear you."
Confidence is sky-high in the visiting camp after they made it four wins out of five thanks to a morale-boosting victory at Highbury on Saturday.
As a result, Rovers are currently sitting pretty in the the top half of the table, which has eased the pressure in Premiership terms.
So that means Flitcroft and Co can now afford to give the UEFA Cup their undivided attention as they go in search of European glory.
"We don't fear anyone and why should we?" said Flitcroft.
"When the draw was made, we were all made up that we'd got Celtic because it gives us the chance to test ourselves against the best.
"We did that on Saturday against Arsenal and we want to do it again.
"At the end of the day, we want to win every game we play in because we've got a hungry set of lads here who want to progress as far as they can.
"And, when you are winning matches like we are, the games can't come quickly enough.
"So make no mistake about it, we'll be up for this tonight.
"The Premiership remains our priority but we also want to do well in Europe.
"Celtic are one of the best sides left in this competition and if we can beat them over two legs, then who knows how far we could go in the competition?
"We've got a great home record at Ewood and you can't see many sides coming to our place and getting a result at the moment, unless they do something special."
