IMAGINE Tarantino and Scorsese meet Father Ted... the outcome would be something very similar to the Octagon's forthcoming productionThe Lonesome West.
Set in Leenane, Galway, The Lonesome West tells the story of Valene and Coleman, two brothers living together in their father's house following his recent demise. Both equally competitive and stubborn they find it impossible to get on and the most mundane and harmless of discussions spiral into sadistic and often very funny disputes.
The dark Irish comedy by award-winning writer Martin McDonagh opens at the Bolton theatre on Thursday, November 7, and runs until Saturday, November 30. Tickets cost from £6.50 and are available from the box office on 01204 520661.
