LEIGH MP Andy Burnham has vowed to fight on for justice for asbestos victims.
Speaking in a Commons debate he urged the government to keep up the battle for ex-employees of Turner and Newall suffering from asbestos-related diseases.
He said a way must be found to end the injustice of a situation where families have seen claims for mesothelioma blocked by the voluntary administration of the new parent company.
Mr Burnham said: "I have met many people in my constituency whose lives have been devastated by this terrible disease and they deserve justice. We won't stop until they have got it. I am pleased that the Minister pledged to continue to work with us for a solution."
