BLACKPOOL Social Services adult placement service is recruiting people to train as carers for adults with learning difficulties.
A new campaign asking Blackpool residents to consider committing themselves to the scheme begins on November 11.
A council spokesman said: "While qualifications are not required to join, what is important are the attitudes, values, caring approach and commitment needed to engage with adults with learning disabilities on a meaningful level. The service wishes to hear from people who feel they can commit time to the scheme and offer accommodation, preferably ground floor, on a short break basis -- anything between a few hours to two weeks at a time would be acceptable."
