ONE win, one defeat from the last two games is not brilliant but it's better than two draws!
The Reading game at Deepdale wasn't good to watch. We've played better and only drawn, but a win is a win.
Not sure about playing Tyrone Mears up front - the lad tries but we need a proven goal scorer up there. Then again the only natural goal scorer at the club is David Healy, and he's not breaking any pots this season is he!
A good effort at Portsmouth came to nothing, once again a dubious decision by the referee, this time giving the home lads a penalty on the strength of what looked like a smashing 'dive' by their French striker. But haven't Portsmouth won seven out of eight at home? That's the sign of a good team - win your home games to stay up, win your away games to and you'll go up.
On Saturday Burnley visit Deepdale in a 5.35pm TV game. They have conceded NINE goals in their last two matches, and with Fuller back in the frame this is the time to gain some much needed confidence for the players and fans at PNE.
