ANOTHER manufacturing industry deserts Britain. 'Doc Martens' boot makers are to sack 1,000 workers and move production to China to cut costs.

Earlier in the year 'Dyson' transferred its vacuum production to Malaysia.

Thousands of British jobs are lost as workers in China, India, etc. are paid much less wages. Where will it all end as the end product sold in this country isn't cheap and our overheads and wages can't be reduced, as the cost of living spirals?

We can't boycott all goods made abroad but all the 'made in Britain' signs are disappearing.
