RESIDENTS in Rosegrove are being warned to keep doors and windows locked and be vigilant after a spate of incidents in the area.
Local beat bobby PC Linda Haywood issued the warning to remind neighbours to beware of opportunitist "sneak" thieves in the Rosegrove.
PC Haywood said all your doors and windows must be locked at all times and urged people to also be vigilant about vehicles.
She said: "Do not give the thieves the opportunity and if you see anyone acting suspicious contact the police immediately."

THE First Girl's Brigade which is attached to Greenbrook Methodist Church in Greenbrook Road is taking over part of the church garden as part of their conservation badge.
If you have any bulbs, plants, small shrubs that you no longer need the girls would be very grateful for them.

DEVELOPMENT planners from Lancashire County Council visited the site of the proposed incinerator at Valley Gardens, Accrington Road, Hapton, last week.
The visit was followed by a presentation at Rosegrove Unity club.
Local residents Mr Rendel and Mr Hindle from the business park on Network 65 explained the concerns and the pitfalls that could happen if this proposal for the animal incinerator was granted.
A local expert planner also spoke on their behalf with his own views why the plans should not be granted.
