GOAL hero Ricardo Fuller is facing a race against time to be fit for tomorrow's Worthington Cup tie at Birmingham City.
With Burnley players biting as his heels throughout Saturday's game, Fuller pulled up several times and was described by manager Craig Brown after the game as having 'collected a knock.'
He will be assessed today before Brown picks his squad for the Worthington tie at St Andrew's.
His absence could pave the way for David Healy to return to the squad.
And Eric Skora, who helped form the most effective midfield combination North End have had all season, may also miss the trip down the M6.
He injured his knee and shoulder during the 3-1 victory at Deepdale.
