JEAN is preparing a birthday dinner for her husband Henry and their friends Vic and Betty.

But when Henry arrives home he has the wrong briefcase, which he accidentally picked up on the Tube - and it is stuffed with £50 notes.

Jean and Henry will be played by Penny Griffin and Geoffrey Collinge. Other members of the cast are Geoffrey Jackson, Mike Gee, Tony Harris, Carole Bardsley and Roy Starkie. The director is Mark Storton.

It will take to the stage at the Leisure Hall, Bacup, from Tuesday, November 26, until Saturday, November 30.

Performances on Tuesday and Wednesday start at 7.30pm, and tickets at £5 (£4 concessions) are bookable from Anne Riding on 01706 228720.

The shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are dinner theatre productions at 6.30pm for 7pm -- and Friday and Saturday are already sold out.
