ACCRINGTON Theatre Group is to stage The Sound of Music at Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre, starting on Saturday.
Subsequent performances will then run nightly from Monday, November 11 to Friday, November 15 at 7.30pm. There will be no performance on Sunday, November 10.
On Saturday, November 16, there will be a matinee at 2pm and a special singalong performance at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the Information Office at Accrington Town Hall, telephone 01254 380293.
THE Dorothy Bruce School of Dance will present the pantomime Humpty Dumpty at the Civic Theatre, Oswaldtwistle, from Thursday , November 21, until Saturday, November 23.
Performances will start at 7.15pm, with a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm. Tickets at £5 adults and £4 senior citizens and children are available from the Information Office at Accrington Town Hall and the Senior Citizens' Centre in Eagle Street, Accrington. THE Trinity Drama Group will mount its 17th production - Hello . . . Is There Any Body There? - at the Trinity Methodist Church Hall in Clitheroe this week.
The Ian Hornby farce will be go on stage at 7.30pm on Thursday , Friday and Saturday.
Admission, by programme, is £4, concessions £3, which includes a cup of tea and a biscuit.
