A FURTHER meeting was held last week between representatives of the parish council and United Utilities, about the proposed wind farm at Dunnockshaw.

The councillors were told that when the wind farm is up and running a proportion of the income from it will be given to the parishes which it will affect.

The majority of this money will go to Dunnockshaw, but Cliviger, along with Habergham Eaves, will also receive an annual payment, and it is expected that this arrangement would continue for 25 years.
