FULHAM could have Facundo Sava back in action for Wednesday night's Worthington Cup third round tie at home to Third Division Bury.
The Argentinian striker has missed the last five games with a calf injury but is back in training, easing the burden for manager Jean Tigana who already has Steed Malbranque (foot), Louis Saha (hamstring) and Sean Davis (broken toe) sidelined.
Now Tigana must decide how to balance his resources after 23 matches this season including campaigns in the Intertoto and UEFA Cup.
At the start of another cup adventure for Fulham, Tigana may be tempted to rest some of his stars and give rare outings ton the likes of veteran John Collins, reserve goalkeeper Maik Taylor and fit-again midfielder Lee Clark.
PROVISIONAL SQUAD: Taylor, Melville, Brevett, Knight, Leacock, Clark, Stolcers, Inamoto, Ouaddou, Collins, Wome, Hayles, Sava, Djetou, Legwinski, Van der Sar.
