ANIMAL enthusiasts sang Little Donkey at a service at the Only Foals and Horses Sanctuary in Oswaldtwistle.
The sanctuary, in Haslingden Old Road, hosts the service and blessing for a safe winter for its animal residents every year.
More than 100 animal enthusiasts attended the service, led by the Rev Michael Ratcliffe, vicar of St Paul's, Oswaldtwistle.
Sanctuary co-ordinator Olive Lomas said the service, which included poetry readings , was well attended. Only Foals and Horses opened eight years ago and now has 113 horses, ponies and donkeys, as well as pigs and goats.
