IT'S congratulations to Bury's Groundwork team. Staff from the regeneration agency have been presented with certificates to mark their completion of a management development programme.
Accredited by the Institute of Management, the course was one of a series of training programmes that Groundwork has organised.
Managing director Mike Kinsella said: "We are committed to developing personal training plans for all our staff at all levels. Working with local community groups, in schools and with local companies, our team require diverse and often specialist skills. Wherever possible, our aim is to develop those skills in house."
Delivered by TMS Insight, the programme allowed staff to relate theoretical techniques to the practical realities of their jobs and lessons learned from assignments completed during the eight month course are already helping to develop individual and company performance.
Groundwork Federation board member Ian Selby presented the certificates.
