A CANCER sufferer who has raised money for research into the disease wants to thank everyone who has helped her pass the £6,000 barrier.
Margaret Seed, of Mellor, has written two books telling health professionals how it feels to live with the disease.
Sales and fund-raising days have sent the total up to £6,000 which will go to Prof Tony Howell's Prevention Fund at the Christie Hospital. Margaret recently presented the latest batch of cheques to Prof Howell.
Margaret's second book, A Patient's Perspective on Cancer, costs £4 plus post and packing and is available from her on 01254 812904.
