BLACKBURN Shopping Centre welcomes Latino pop star Ricky Martin's percussionist Gabriel Nuzzoli on Sunday.
Gabriel's holding a workshop in the Urban Music Drop-In at Lord Square as part of the Sunday Live programme sponsored by Standard Life Investments, owners of the centre.
As well as playing for Ricky Martin, Gabriel also plays the drums with some of pop's biggest names.
The workshop takes place between 2pm and 5pm and follows the success of the turntable workshops held on alternate Sundays since the launch of Sunday Live.
These finished on October 13 and have been replaced by the percussion workshop as well as Gospel singing session with John Wane, a founding member of the London Community Gospel Choir, who has worked with Elton John and George Michael.
An MC/rap workshop with DJ Sneakee and MC Vibes is also being held, and a second breakdance workshop on December 9.
The turntable workshops attracted up to 70 youngsters per session, and the event they alternated with - the Sunday Laff-In in Victoria Court between 12pm and 1pm, and 2pm and 3pm - continues to draw increasing numbers of children and adults keen to learn about the art of stand-up comedy.
