ONLY St Helens pack star Paul Sculthorpe remains a doubt for Great Britain as they prepare for their opening Test against New Zealand at Blackburn's Ewood Park on Saturday.
Great Britain coach David Waite was not ruling the Saints playmaker out of the first clash of the three-match 'Don't Drink Drive' Test series, but equally he was not ruling him in.
"We have 21 out of a squad of 22 in full training for the Ewood Park game," explained Waite, pin-pointing Sculthorpe who sustained a leg injury in Saints' 19-18 Grand Final success over Bradford Bulls last month.
"We are positive that we will have him for future games, but we cannot be so sure in the short term.
"He is not in full training as yet, but there are two sessions to go before the match - we will have to see. If he is out then it is a blow to lose a quality player, but in a lot of ways we are well off as he is the only player who is doubtful."
It means that Sculthorpe's Knowsley Road team-mate Keiron Cunningham is definitely in the running to start at Ewood.
The hooker missed Wales' 50-22 defeat by the touring Kiwis at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday with a hand injury but, having joined the GB camp, it would appear he is progressing well.
"Keiron has joined in training and he has come through," said Waite.
"There has been no drama, but by tonight we will know exactly where we stand for Saturday.
"We will let the players know what the squad is this evening and then we start looking to Saturday."
In the Kiwis' camp Ruben Wiki's fitness has been the major worry after he sustained a back injury in Cardiff at the weekend.
However, New Zealand trained at Leeds Rhinos' Headingley ground yesterday and it was felt that Wiki would be in contention for a place in the opening Test match.
