WITH the Spurs game out of the way it is back to the serious business of trying to improve our league position, starting with the visit of Coventry City on Saturday.
We have lost three on the bounce in the league and we need to turn it around but I don't imagine the tension will be as great as it was last time Coventry came to Turf.
That match on the last day of the season was incredible and of course a massive, massive disappointment. We may have won the game 1-0 but it felt like a loss because we missed out on the play-offs.
That is history and all that matters is getting a result on Saturday and we would take a 1-0 win here and now.
Obviously there have been some changes since the summer at Coventry and Gary McAllister has come in and done a good job by the looks of it.
He can clearly still play a bit as well because he got a couple of goals against Rotherham United on Saturday.
They have got some good players and it was a bit of a mystery why they did not do better last season. They were going well and then fell away.
But we can go into the game with a lot of confidence because we always seem to do well against clubs that have recently been relegated. We did the double over Coventry last season, we have already won at Derby and Leicester this season and we also got a draw at Ipswich.
I think one of the reasons we have done well is that we like to play against sides who are keen to play good football.
Teams like Coventry really go out there to win a match and that is something we do, as we have proved even in defeat at Grimsby and Preston.
I know we have lost a few on the bounce but we can stay positive because we have been making the chances and plenty of them. What we need to do is start taking them and, of course, tighten up at the back.
We have been making errors and it is strange because when he first came back at times it looked as though Marlon was unbeatable in goal.
But the funny thing is he has not had much chance with any of the ones that have gone in the last three league games and the deflection that made it 3-1 at Deepdale on Saturday was typical of the way things are going - it ended up in the top corner.
This weekend's match is the end of a hectic schedule that started with a win at Leicester. Let's hope we can end with another win.
