THREE people were arrested after police raided an address in Burnley and seized a quantity of drugs.
Two females and one male were arrested at their home on the Melrose Estate at around 6.15pm on Tuesday, after police found what they believe to be heroin.
All three are currently on police bail pending forensic examination of the substance.
The two women will be questioned about drug-related offences, while the male will be questioned in relation to burglary.
The warrant was initiated by Stoops and Hargher Clough community beat manager PC Justin Brown, who was acting on information received from the public.
PC Brown said: "I get a lot of feedback from local residents who are worried about drugs.
"I share their concerns which is why, with support from my colleagues, I am determined to crack down on drug-related crime.
"The use and supply of drugs, particularly in residential areas, will not be tolerated.
"Suspected offenders will be targeted and where there is sufficient evidence, they will be put before the courts."
He added: "Having said that, I do need co-operation from local residents. I need them to stand up and be counted; to come forward and tell me who is responsible for using, and supplying drugs."
PC Brown can be contacted on 01282 472968, or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
He added: "The drugs problem is not insurmountable, but we do need to work together if we are to make real inroads into tackling it."
