Morecambe face one of their biggest tests of the season this Saturday when they take on promotion chasing Doncaster Rovers at Christie Park.
Shrimps directors are keen to drum up support from home fans to match what is expected to be a large
travelling contingent from South Yorkshire.
Donny currently occupy second place, just three points behind league-leaders Yeovil, and they have attracted a large and enthusiastic following.
Morecambe are hitting back, with supporters invited to take part in telephone canvassing to attract the local public to the match.
The Shrimps currently occupy fifth place, the final play-off spot - victory on Saturday could put them third, ahead of Chester City, who were this week linked to a merger with Tranmere Rovers.
There is no shortage of competition at Christie Park at the moment.
Young striker Nick Rogan's FA Cup debut brace against Grantham was only enough for a place on the bench in Saturday's 4-1 thumping of Burton Albion.
Instead, it was another young gun who caught the eye, with pacy teenager Danny Carlton grabbing two against Nigel Clough's newly-promoted outfit.
Morecambe took barely half an hour to get a grip on the game.
Having dominated the opening exchanges, the Shrimps took the lead after a Stewart Drummond through ball fed Carlton, who kept his nerve to score the opener.
It took barely two minutes for the second to arrive, this time through a characteristically fine effort from Lee Elam, which eluded Burton's defenders before sneaking in at the far post.
A bad five minutes for Burton were completed when skipper Darren Stride was shown the red card for kicking out at Michael Stringellow.
Burton were given a chance to redeem themselves shortly after half time when substitute Ian Swan brought down player-boss Clough in the area for a penalty, converted by Dale Anderson.
But Morecambe were not going to be denied their hard-earned three points and, on 65 minutes, Carlton made it three with a close range header after Adriano Rigoglioso's cross.
Morecambe saved the best goal for last, Dave McKearney exchanging passes with Rigoglioso before slotting home his first goal of the season to complete a 4-1 rout.
