PARENTS of children at Darwen Vale High School celebrated an excellent year at the school's award ceremony.
Headteacher Lynn Dunning gave a short speech thanking the children and teachers for their hard work before awarding the prizes.
The assembled parents were also treated to a night of music and songs performed by the school choir and musicians.
