CATS lovers will have another chance to see the smash-hit West End musical at Blackpool's Opera House, next summer.
Jon Sheehy, sales and marketing executive for Leisure Parcs says he's delighted that CATS is returning to the Opera House in 2003.
"It's great news for both the Opera House and the town to attract such a prestigious show.
"Once again, Blackpool is leading the way in seaside resort shows and a production of this kind provides the opportunity for the travel trade to package summer breaks to Blackpool to include the show and accommodation.
" The timing of the show will also maximise the opportunity for families to visit the town during the summer holidays," adds Jon Sheehy.
Based on the book by T S Eliot, the production runs from July 29 until August 16. Tickets, priced from £19.50, go on sale next week. Special rates are available for families and groups with special Show and Dine corporate hospitality packages and preferential rates for Theatre Card holders.
