AN annual five-a-side tournament attracted twelve teams from around the region.
Organised by staff at Audley Community Centre the competition aimed to bring youngsters together in sport. Over a hundred youngsters packed into the centre throughout the day.
For the first time clubs from outside of Blackburn were invited to play and it was a Preston side, Al-Ansaar who celebrated a famous win.
Al-Ansaar beat the favourites Beach FC to book their place in the final. Their opponents were Islington Boys made light work of Blackburn United in the other semi-final.
The tournament was organised as part of Blackburn with Darwen Community Festival week.
