REGARDING The Scarlet Pimpernel at the Charter Theatre recently.
We would have enjoyed the show very much if we hadn't have sat on the second row centre stage.
We had to put up with the conductor standing up and ruining all the singing sections of the show. The singing voices of the main characters were indeed amazing.
But as you say in your review piece (Citizen, October 31) the theatre was too small to do it justice.
