THE 'Burn are set to complete a great year with a special showcase gig later this month.
The Blackburn indie outfit -- who signed to Hut Records 18 months ago -- have spent much of the year recording their debut album with producer Hugh Jones.
And with the work at the Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire complete, their focus has moved to release of the album, Sally O'Mattress, which will be out early next year.
Following their debut single, the angry blues number The Smiling Face, the album will also be preceded by another single.
Having enjoyed the whirlwind journey of co-headline slots with The Coral and The Music, and supports with heavyweights Oasis, Paul Weller and Ian Brown, the lads are now set to make their mark.
They play the Electrowerkz, North London, on Wednesday, November 27 with admission £7.50.
For tickets call the 24-hour credit card line 0871 2200260.
