VOLUNTARY and community groups who work with young people could get a grant of up to £7,000.
The local Network Fund for children and young people is asking any groups who run or organise a project or activity that directly benefits disadvantaged youngsters to get in touch with them.
Suafina Aslam, Outreach Development Officer explained, "Grants are provided for small community projects working with 0-19 year olds. If you need between £250 and £7,000 to organise an activity it might be in your interests to get in touch with us."
"Groups must be based in Lancashire."
Projects and activities must fit into one of four main themes, Aspirations and experiences, economic disadvantage, isolation and access and Children's voice's. Priority is given to first time applications, disadvantaged wards and minority ethnic groups.
The local Netowrk Fund is managed by Community Features, which is an organisation that aims to empower, develop and support sustainable communities in partnership with voluntary organisations.
Suafina added, "The next closing date for applications is on 22nd November and the one after that is 14th February.
