NEW projects which aim to cut truancy levels and improve the health of children now have access to extra cash.
The Children's Fund is a Government-led initiative designed to offer increased and better co-ordinated services for five-to-13-year-olds and their families.
The Partnership Group of the Bury Children's Fund Programme is looking for innovative ideas which can be applied locally and is offering finance to support such schemes. The money can be used by voluntary and community groups, as well as statutory services.
