A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of traveller Eamon McDonagh.
Shane Manson was due to appear in court today charged with killing the 17-year-old last Wednesday.
A post mortem examination revealed he had died from head injuries.
Eamon's body was discovered in the early hours by his family after an incident which followed a night out with a friend.
Eamon and his friend had set off to return home to Eamon's caravan after spending time in Blackburn and Accrington town centres.
The caravan was situated on wasteland behind the Moorings Pub, Hollin Bank Street, near Blackburn Rovers' football ground.
After the death, police appealed for information about four youths believed to have been involved in an argument with the two friends.
Eamon was found 25 yards from his home at 6.15am and taken to the nearby Blackburn Royal Infirmary where he died.
