PENDLE county councillor Tim Ormrod has resigned from his position in Lancashire County Council's cabinet.
He was the member for public protection and rural affairs, and said he has stepped down 'for personal reasons.'
County Council leader Hazel Harding said: "Tim has been a hard working member of the cabinet and I would like to place on record my appreciation of his work on public protection and rural affairs.
"I know he will continue to serve his constituents and Lancashire County Council as efficiently and effectively as he has always done."
County Councillor Ormrod said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of being a member of Lancashire County Council's first Cabinet."
