LICENSEES, publicans and bouncers in Burnley will be given a demonstration about "dance" drugs this week.
Members of a dance drugs safety team will meet representatives of Burnley's pub and club scene tomorrow.
Police officers will also be at the seminar, aimed at promoting awareness of, and educating licensees about, "recreational" drugs.
The team will also be at Chicago Rock, in Hammerton Street, on Friday night. They will be in the club from 10pm handing out advice and information for clubbers.
Paula Slinger, dance drugs safety co-ordinator, said: "We are targeting licensees and door staff in the area and educating them about what we do.
"We are also going to Chicago Rock in the evening and hope to make it a night that will appeal to clubbers."
