AT THE Gregson Centre on Friday, Marian Hughes and Mollie Baxter, voted the top two acts at Spotlight Club's open mic competition last summer, join forces to present their show, 'No Herring No Wedding.'
Marian, 'Lancaster's Quirkiest Funnywoman,' has impressed with her unique combination of writing and physical performance while Mollie, well known as a singer-songwriter, will delight audiences with recently introduced character Selene de la Verr, the Jaded Bohemian Beat Poet.
'No Herring No Wedding' is a fruit compote of sketches, songs and monologues presented by a cast of crazy characters in a relaxed cabaret atmosphere.
The evening will round off with music to dance to from DJ Doug Leece. Doors open at 8pm.
