A 54-YEAR-OLD man found collapsed in Colne died of natural causes after a heart attack, an inquest heard.
John Gill, who lived at the Hendley Hotel in Queen Street, had been found in the street on November 14 last year.
He was admitted to Burnley General Hospital, his condition did not improve and he died five days later. Mr Gill was identified by his brother Frank.
The hearing, at Rawtenstall Town Hall, was told how a post mortem was carried out by pathologist Dr Zuhair Twaij. An inquest was opened last November 22 and adjourned for toxicology reports.
Acting East Lancs Coroner Richard Taylor recorded a verdict of death from natural causes after he said the reports concluded Mr Gill had had a heart attack.
