POLICE community beat surgeries have restarted on a weekly basis at Astley.
The new location in Astley Clinic in the grounds of Dam House, replaces meetings which used to be held in the Old Doctor's House in Astley Hall Drive.
Astley area policeman, PC Damian Noblett will be available to the public between 1.30-3pm every Wednesday. People can drop in for help, advice, to report a crime or just to discuss any issues that may be worrying them.
Chief Inspector Ian Palmer welcomes the move, he said: "The community beat clinic presents an ideal opportunity for the community beat officers to work ever more closely with the people they serve. They are accessible and visible, which in turn provides them with a better and invaluable understanding of the community."
