A PENSIONER has fallen foul of bogus callers. The 89-year-old woman was tricked by two con artists, one a woman, who claimed they worked for the water board to gain entry into her home in Robertson Street, Radcliffe.
Once inside, the man turned off the water at the stopcock before he distracted the pensioner and stole a quantity of cash.

The man is said to be white, 5ft 4 in tall, of medium build, with black hair and aged in his 30s. He was wearing a high-visibility jacket.
His accomplice was white, of similar height and aged in her early 20s. She had medium-length straight dark hair and wore a navy blue sweater and dark trousers.
